Job summary

Kforce is seeking a SDET/Senior Java Developer in Tampa, FL to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications. You will build, test, and deploy scalable software while ensuring quality, performance, and reliability, and you will develop unit tests to support quality initiatives.

Responsibilities include contributing to architecture, documentation, and collaboration with stakeholders. You will work in an Agile environment, participate in code reviews, and support API/integration solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise software.
• Strong OO programming and modern frameworks.
• Experience with cloud-based distributed architectures.
• Experience with front-end technologies and responsive web apps.
• Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with testing frameworks and automated testing.
• Knowledge of microservices, service-oriented architecture, APIs, and system integrations.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications based on business and technical requirements.
• Build, test, and deploy scalable software solutions while ensuring quality, performance, and reliability.
• Develop and execute unit testing and support overall application quality initiatives.
• Contribute to application architecture, technical design, and solution development efforts.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and support materials.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver technology solutions.
• Support production environments by troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements when needed.
• Participate in code reviews and promote development standards, best practices, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and support API, integration, and messaging solutions across enterprise systems.
• Contribute to CI/CD, automation, and DevOps initiatives to improve software delivery processes.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks while adhering to security, compliance, and governance standards.
• Work within Agile and modern software development methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions.
