Job summary

Trilogy NextGen seeks an experienced Senior Java / React Architect to lead architecture for a large financial-services client in Pittsburgh, PA. This hands-on role spans backend Java APIs, Spring Boot, and frontend React UIs, driving end-to-end architectural patterns and best practices.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product, security, and infrastructure teams, and ensure scalable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development in enterprise environments.
• Experience as an application/solution architect or senior technical lead.
• Hands-on Java development with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Strong React front-end and modern UI architecture experience.
• Experience integrating React UIs with Java-based APIs and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead architecture for large-scale enterprise applications.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performing full-stack architectures.
• Provide technical leadership across backend, UI, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Define patterns for modern React-based UIs and backend integration.
• Mentor senior engineers and promote strong software engineering practices.
