Job summary

Feuji is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and lead enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate has 12+ years in software development with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, SQL/PLSQL, and modern UI tech like Angular or React.

The role involves collaborating with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure solutions and mentoring the engineering team across backend, database, and UI layers.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE.
• Expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
• Extensive experience in Microservices architecture.
• Strong experience with REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of SQL/PLSQL and Oracle DB.
• Hands-on experience with Angular and/or React.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with Maven; familiar with CI/CD ecosystems.
• Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID, patterns; clean coding.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement scalable Microservices-based architectures.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with systems.
• Develop complex SQL queries and PL/SQL packages with performance in mind.
• Create responsive UI components with Angular and/or React.
• Collaborate with UI, backend, database, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams.
• Perform code reviews, technical design reviews, and provide guidance.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Ensure performance, scalability, security, and maintainability of apps.
• Work with Maven for build and dependency management.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, estimation, planning, and discussions.
• Mentor junior and senior developers and promote engineering best practices.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and plans.
