Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an Application Engineer for a 12-month contract in Nashville, TN. You will develop quality Java software in collaboration with business analysts, software architects, and leads to ensure alignment with business needs and non-functional requirements.

Responsibilities include contributing to design and development of systems, and providing liaison to the sales team. Must have 4+ years in software development and strong Java production experience.

Qualifications

• Development experience in Java, versions 11 and above.
• 0
• Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, particularly Spring Boot.
• Experience writing code tests with tools such as JUnit and Cucumber.
• Experience with messaging and streaming engines like RabbitMQ and Kafka
• Experience programming with JSON.
• Experience in databases such as MS SQL Server, DB2, Couchbase, and Oracle.
• SDLC management through Azure DevOps.
• Source code control and DevOps using GitHub.
• Understanding of Service Oriented, Microservice and Event based Architectures principles
• Experience with container platforms like Kubernetes preferred.
