CBRE’s Digital & Technology team seeks a Software Staff Engineer to lead design and development across Java/J2EE, Spring, and microservice-based systems. You will contribute to cloud-native applications and modern web services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software.

The role requires strong coding, debugging, and communication skills, with emphasis on SDLC ownership, code reviews, and CI/CD excellence.

Qualifications

• 7-11 years of experience in design and development of applications using Java/J2EE.
• Experience with Spring, Spring Boot and microservices architectures.
• Proficient in ReactJS/AngularJS/NodeJS and cloud-native development.

Responsabilités

• Plan, design, develop, modify and maintain software within modules of a large system.
• Be part of a cross-functional team handling full SDLC from concept to deployment.
• Collaborate on code reviews and drive CI/CD practices across projects.
• Troubleshoot issues, analyze root causes and propose durable fixes.
• Work with SQL/ORM tech and modern web services in a cloud environment.
