Job summary

Artifintech in McLean, VA seeks a Java Developer to own the backend for 12 months with potential extension. You will build core Java services, Spring Boot microservices, and cloud deployments on AWS, while embracing Playwright for testing and GenAI-assisted coding.

You will collaborate in Agile teams, participate in DevOps practices, and work on Angular frontend integrations as needed. This role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and a desire to learn new technologies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Core Java development experience, familiar with Java 8 or higher.
• Able to deliver end to end project.
• Experience in Spring Boot and Microservices for development.
• Experience in end-to-end testing using tools such as Playwright.
• Must have AWS and Angular experience.
• Must have knowledge on Devops and should have worked in Agile framework.
• AWS services (S3, SQS, SNS, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch).
• Experience on AWS deployed applications.
• Agile/scrum development experience.
• Good collaboration and communication skills.
• Ready to learn new technologies and perform POC on it.
• Ability to use Gen AI Tools for code generation and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop core Java applications with Java 8+.

• Perform end-to-end testing using Playwright.
