Job summary

PNC is seeking a Software Engineer Sr. to join its Technology organization. Based in multiple U.S. locations including Dallas, TX, this in-office role emphasizes building and maintaining high-transaction Java microservices.

The ideal candidate has strong Java experience, RESTful APIs, and proficiency with Agile methods. You will contribute to design, development, testing, and deployment within CI/CD pipelines and collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5 years of industry-relevant experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prior leadership experience
• Knowledge in Object oriented Analysis and Design.
• Experience in designing, building, and maintaining high transaction, distributed Restful API’s and Microservices.
• Strong JAVA hands on experience – preferably the versions listed below
• Excellent communication, collaboration and organizational skills
• Strong working experience leveraging Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban)
