Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced in Java, Springboot, Microservices, RESTful API and Kubernetes.
• Experience with API Gateways, Kafka, Cassandra or other NoSQL DB, cloud infrastructure.
• Observability tooling such as Splunk, Kibana, AppDynamics or Dynatrace.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance to business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews peers' code.
• Drives decisions influencing product design, functionality, and operations.
• Serves as a subject matter expert in one or more focus areas.
