Job summary

Khoj Information Technology Pvt Ltd is seeking a senior Java Developer in the United States to design, build, deploy, and maintain enterprise Java applications. You will work on RESTful APIs, EDI-friendly integrations, and act across the full SDLC with modern toolchains.

The role requires strong problem-solving and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance software in production environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong core Java, OOP, and Java/J2EE fundamentals.
• Solid experience with Servlets, JSP, JDBC and related frameworks.
• Hands-on with JBoss/WildFly servers for deploy/config/maintenance.
• RESTful APIs and web services development & integration.
• Spring Framework and Spring Boot familiarity.
• Relational databases such as Oracle/MS SQL Server/PostgreSQL.
• Maven or Gradle for build and dependency management; Git for version control.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and production support skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, enhance, and maintain enterprise Java applications.
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot apps on JBoss/WildFly servers.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services.
• Write clean, maintainable code following standards and best practices.
• Work with SQL databases and data integration processes.
• Troubleshoot defects, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes.
• Analyze and optimize performance, scalability, security and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Support deployments, environment configs, release management and prod support.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, QA, and other devs to deliver solutions.
• Follow SDLC processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Support EDI integrations where applicable.
