Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Java Developer to support high-volume enterprise applications and build scalable, secure software solutions in Newark, DE. The role involves the full SDLC from requirements and technical design through development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of software development experience and hands-on work with Spring Boot, MVC, Security, Integration, and Data JPA, plus

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience expected.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Integration, and Spring Data JPA.
• Experience building REST APIs and consuming/writing SOAP web services.
• Strong understanding of JVM internals and performance tuning.
• Experience with JUnit, Git, Maven, Bitbucket, and Artifactory.
• Monitoring experience with Splunk and/or Dynatrace.
• Familiarity with WebSphere MQ or ActiveMQ.
• Experience with XML/JSON and libraries such as JAXB, Jackson, or Gson.
• Understanding of Java design patterns, distributed systems, security, and defensive coding.
• Exposure to ReactJS, Vue, or Handlebars is a plus.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot is a plus.

Responsibilities
