Job summary

Scalepex seeks a skilled engineer to own key features and components of our Ecosystem Team. You will participate in all phases of software development from requirements to performance tuning, with day-to-day work including designing products in Spark, Splunk, Hadoop and Prometheus, plus unit testing and code reviews.

You will work across backend and frontend teams, implement REST APIs, deploy automated tests in CI/CD, monitor and optimize systems, and deliver high-quality software to customers

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science.
• 7+ years in software development.
• Experience with distributed systems and REST APIs.
• Strong proficiency with Linux/Unix.
• Familiarity with Spring Framework.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop products in Spark, Splunk, Hadoop, Prometheus and related tech.
• Unit testing and code reviews.
• Design and implement automated tests for CI/CD.
• Instrument code to collect metrics for monitoring.
• Address issues in CI pipeline or production.
• Collaborate across backend, frontend, infra, and domain teams.
• Deliver high-quality software with a focus on implementation excellence.
