Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Plano, TX is seeking an experienced backend engineer with 8–10 years of hands-on Java development to own tasks and deliver end-to-end solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet release goals and continuously learn new technologies.

Responsibilities include building RESTful services with Spring Framework and Spring Boot, developing microservices, integrating Oracle SQL/PLSQL and Cassandra, and applying performance optimization, code

Qualifications

Minimum 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java.
Strong understanding of backend frameworks, APIs, and database integration
Experience with Java development of RESTful Services using the Spring Framework, Spring Boot and SOAP Webservices.
Strong experience with microservices, deployment, dockers and containers.
Experience with Apache Kafka for online data publishing and consuming.
Experience on Junit Test cases development, Performance Testing, Optimization and Code analysis.

Experience working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Strong problem-solving skills and accountability for deliverables.
