Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a Java Fullstack Developer to lead the modernization and deployment of enterprise applications onsite in Charlotte, NC.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted development, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and securing high-performance, scalable services. You will architect backend services in Java (with .NET or Python), build React/Angular frontends, establish CI/CD pipelines, and ensure observability with Splunk and AppDynamics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field.
• Minimum of 10+ years of progressive professional software engineering experience, with 15+ years of total IT industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency in backend Java with strong working capability in .NET or Python ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience in AI-assisted development, including LLMs via SDKs/APIs and GitHub Copilot in Plan and Agent modes.
• Strong front-end experience with React or Angular.
• Extensive experience deploying Kubernetes on Red Hat OpenShift and building automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Splunk and AppDynamics for observability.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, test, and maintain robust full-stack enterprise applications leveraging Java and React/Angular.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and scalable frontend UIs.
• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized workloads on OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Design and automate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Harness.
• Implement observability with Splunk and AppDynamics and proactively remediate security vulnerabilities.
• Lead enterprise migration, infrastructure hardening, and AI-assisted development integration.
