Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer to design, build, and deploy high-performance enterprise applications. In this role, you will drive full-stack development using Java and modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Node.js, Angular), while managing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines on AWS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable solutions, optimize backend systems, and mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Design, build, and maintain robust, high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices using Java/Spring Boot and Node.js.
• Frontend Development: Architect responsive, highly intuitive user interfaces using React.js and Angular, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimized performance.
• Cloud & DevOps Infrastructure: Provision, configure, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, ECS, Lambda, RDS, CloudFront). Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline) for automated testing and rapid deployment.
• Database Management: Design scalable database schemas and write optimized queries for both relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) systems.
• System Architecture & Design: Participate in end-to-end architectural decisions, code reviews, and technical discussions to ensure clean, maintainable, and secure codebases.
• Mentorship & Quality: Drive best engineering practices (TDD, automated testing, code reviews) and mentor mid/junior-level developers.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Core Backend: 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java (Java 11/17+), Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data), and RESTful microservices architecture.
• Node.js Expertise: Proven experience building server-side applications, APIs, and microservices using Node.js and Express.js.
• Frontend Frameworks: Strong proficiency with both React.js (Hooks, Redux/Context API, modern JavaScript/TypeScript) and Angular (TypeScript, RxJS, state management).

• AWS & DevOps:
  • Practical experience with core AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM).
  • Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Database & Caching: Strong relational database skills (PostgreSQL, MySQL) alongside NoSQL experience (MongoDB, DynamoDB) and caching strategies (Redis).
• Testing & Tools: Familiarity with JUnit, Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Git, and Jira.

Preferred Experience

• Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or Solutions Architect).
• Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven design (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS/SNS).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
