Job summary

OKAYA INFOCOM in Plano, Texas is seeking a Senior Core Java Developer to design, develop and support enterprise-grade applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices and REST APIs.

You will build high-volume US payment processing platforms, integrate with core banking systems and payment gateways, ensure security and compliance, and mentor junior developers in an Agile Scrum environment.

Experience in Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Experience with REST APIs and messaging (Kafka).
• Experience in US banking/Payments domain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support enterprise-grade backend applications using Core Java, Spring Boot and microservices.
• Build high-volume payment processing platforms and integrate with banking systems.
• Implement secure, scalable services with Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD tooling.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and payment regulations.
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews and performance tuning.
