Job summary

VLink is seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Technical Lead to coordinate delivery across Pittsburgh and Dallas. You will lead architecture for microservices, guide frontend and backend teams, and ensure timely, high-quality software aligned with client goals.

The role requires hands-on leadership in an Agile setting, deep Java/Spring Boot experience, and strong knowledge of OpenShift, Kubernetes, Kafka, and MongoDB integrations. Onsite work across multiple locations is expected.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of Java API development using Spring Boot (mandatory).
• 5+ years of frontend development with Angular, React, or NodeJS.
• 3+ years of lead experience driving high-quality outcomes.
• Excellent knowledge of OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Experience integrating Java apps with MongoDB.
• Strong design/ programming with JSON, Web Services, XML, PL/SQL.
• Strong collaboration in distributed Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive the project with the client and team.
• Ensure sound, high-quality technical deliverables.
• Drive the direction and roadmap for microservices architecture.
• Provide innovative solutions to complex problems and outcomes.
• Offer technical guidance around Kafka, Microservices, frontend work and MongoDB integration.
• Mentor team members to develop top-quality code.
• Work in an Agile environment and adapt to business needs.
• Be hands-on to develop or fix issues to meet deadlines and quality.
• Collaborate with leadership and the Tech team.
• Guide team to create test plans, identify and fix issues.
• Develop incorporating best practices.
