Job summary

VLink is seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Technical Lead to coordinate delivery across Pittsburgh and Dallas. You will lead architecture for microservices, guide frontend and backend teams, and ensure timely, high-quality software aligned with client goals.

The role requires hands-on leadership in an Agile setting, deep Java/Spring Boot experience, and strong knowledge of OpenShift, Kubernetes, Kafka, and MongoDB integrations. Onsite work across multiple locations is expected.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of Java API development using Spring Boot (mandatory).
• 5+ years of frontend development with Angular, React, or NodeJS.
• 3+ years of lead experience driving high-quality outcomes.
• Excellent knowledge of OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Experience integrating Java apps with MongoDB.
• Strong design/ programming with JSON, Web Services, XML, PL/SQL.
• Strong collaboration in distributed Agile teams.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible to Lead and drive with the team with the client

• Responsible for sound and high quality technical deliverables.

• Drive the direction and roadmap for the microservices architecture.

• Provide innovative solutions to complex situations and drive outcomes.

• Provide technical guidance and architectural assistance around Kafka, Microservices, front end development and Mongo DB integrations

• Help the other members of the team with technical queries and guide and mentor them to develop top quality code.

• Work in an Agile environment and adapt to the changing needs and requirements of the business.

• Always be ready to be hands on to develop or fix issues to deliver on time and with highest quality.

• Work closely with leadership and the whole Tech team

• Work to guide team members to create test plans, and ensure the issues are properly identified, fixed and tested.

• Develop incorporating the best practices

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• At least 9+ years of Java API development using Springboot, hands on troubleshooting and deployment experience. (Mandatory)

• At least 5+ years of front end development with Angular, React, NodeJS.

• 3+ years of experience working as a lead and driving high quality outcomes.

• Excellent working knowledge of Open Shift Container Platform and Kubernetes.

• Working knowledge of Kafka will be a huge value add.

• Experience integrating Java based applications with Mongo DB.

• Demonstrate strong design and programming skills using JSON, Web Services, XML, XSLT, PL/SQL in Unix and Windows environments

• Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teams and in an Agile environment
