Job summary

Synechron seeks a Java Full Stack Developer (Java + React) to design, develop, and support scalable enterprise applications. You will collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, QA, and database teams to deliver robust, secure software across the SDLC using Java, Spring Boot, React, REST APIs, and Agile practices.

You will contribute to quality through JUnit testing, CI/CD awareness, and strong debugging skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• 6 to 8 years of hands-on Java development experience with strong React.js expertise.
• Experience building enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Microservices, and React.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and ceremonies.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical design and documentation.
• Experience creating and managing user stories, tasks, and sub-tasks in Agile environments.
• Hands-on with JUnit and automated testing frameworks for unit/integration testing.
• Experience with JIRA for story tracking, defects, and sprint execution.
• Strong SQL development, database deployment, and knowledge of relational databases.
• Experience collaborating with QA for SIT/UAT testing and issue resolution.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies: Daily Standups, Planning, Grooming, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications and technical designs.
• Develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, and related tech.
• Refine user stories, tasks, and estimates to support delivery.
• Design and implement new features based on product needs.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices with focus on security and performance.
• Write and maintain JUnit tests to improve quality.
• Manage JIRA stories, tasks, and defects throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with database teams to review DDL/DML changes for releases.
• Work with QA to prepare test data and support SIT/UAT.
• Troubleshoot defects in testing and production; support deployments and releases.
• Perform code reviews and uphold development standards; drive improvements.
