Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Java Full Stack Engineer with 6 to 9 years of experience to join our Dallas team. You will develop enterprise APIs using Java and Spring, design event-driven microservices with Kafka, and deploy in AWS with Terraform and containerized environments.

Proficiency with PL/SQL and Oracle, along with strong testing, CI/CD, and GitHub collaboration, will be essential. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required.

Qualifications

• 6 to 9 years full stack software development experience building enterprise APIs and core Java with Spring/Spring boot.
• Experience with web services - JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, etc.
• Experience designing event driven micro services architecture and real-time streaming ingestion pipelines using Kafka.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS cloud deployment/application management.
• Experience building complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions for sub-second query response times and high-throughput data access using Oracle, CockroachDB, etc.
• Experience with unit testing and test automation libraries/strategies.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to improve engineering productivity and code quality.
• Experience building and deploying applications using CI pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience using source control and pull requests in code repositories such as GitHub.
• Strong communications and problem-solving skills.
