Job summary

C. Mack Solutions is seeking a Java Developer to join an Agile Scrum team responsible for delivering releasable software in short sprint cycles. You will work closely with developers, stakeholders, and end-users to create and maintain software for customer-defined systems.

The role requires seven-plus years of Windows-based development experience, strong Java 8+ skills, and extensive Spring Framework and REST API knowledge. Applicants must be U.S.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS in CS, SE, or related discipline; equivalent experience considered.
• At least 7 years of Windows-based software design, development and implementation experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8+ and OOP principles.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC and Spring Security.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, testing frameworks, Angular, and database systems.
• Familiar with source control (Git) and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom software and databases for legacy and modern systems.
• Collaborate with product team and stakeholders to deliver releasable software in sprints.
• Participate in release planning, sprint activities, testing, and demonstrations.
• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices.
• Ensure code quality and timely delivery, reporting progress to leadership.
