Job summary

My3tech in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced IT consultant to deliver specialized application development and architecture services for the Corrections IT System (CITS) on a 12-month contract with extension potential. You will design physical system models, set foundation standards across cross-functional teams, and lead multi-service provider collaborations to align technical strategy with business goals.

A strong Java/enterprise cloud/Data background is expected.

Qualifications

8+ years of IT consulting experience.
Familiarity with SDLC methodologies and enterprise information architecture.

Responsibilities

Architecture & System Design: Develop physical system architectures and balance data, processing, and technology layers to support system design, testing, and deployment.
Standards & Compliance: Publish, update, and maintain architecture models to ensure alignment with business requirements and industry standards.
Component & Technology Integration: Resolve API standards and cross-technology communication protocols.
Performance & Scalability: Address database performance and scalability with proactive troubleshooting.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead multi-service provider work groups in a collaborative environment.
