Job summary

CereCore is seeking an Application Engineer to develop high-quality Java software in an Integration and Automation context. You will collaborate with business analysts, architects, and leads to ensure the solution meets business needs and adheres to non-functional requirements.

You will work in a team that values autonomy, timely delivery, and strong communication, with containerized deployments and microservice-oriented design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of full-time software development experience.
• Strong production Java experience; containerized apps a plus.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Java frameworks.
• Experience with JUnit and Cucumber for testing.
• Experience with RabbitMQ and Kafka messaging/streams.
• Experience with databases such as MS SQL Server, DB2, Couchbase and Oracle.
• SDLC tooling: Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Understanding of SOA, microservices and event-based architectures.
• Experience with Kubernetes preferred.
