Job summary

VistalTech Inc is seeking an experienced Java Developer to build and support modern applications in an AWS environment, focusing on microservices, API design, and collaboration across the full stack with Java, Spring Boot and React.

You will design, develop and maintain scalable services, implement RESTful APIs, deploy and monitor in AWS, and participate in code reviews with product managers, QA, DevOps and other engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Extensive professional experience as a Java Developer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience working with React.
• Experience building or supporting applications in AWS.
• Familiarity with Git, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience in financial services or enterprise environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and support reliable service-to-service communication.
• Develop user-facing features with React and connect them to backend services.
• Deploy, monitor, and support applications running in AWS.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to performance, reliability, and security improvements.
• Work with product managers, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
