Job summary

Jas Gujral is seeking a Senior Java Software Application Development Engineer to design and develop enhancements for the KYCView application, an enterprise Java JEE based system used by Compliance. The candidate will analyze existing architectures, implement features, and resolve defects across all SDLC stages, utilizing WAS, Oracle, IBM BPM/ODM, MQ and REST/SOAP web services.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 10+ years in design, deployment, and review of enterprise apps.
• Extensive Java/JEE, n-tier applications experience.
• Experience with WAS, AngularJS, AngularJS 5.0, JavaScript, JPA, Spring Hibernate, CSS, AJAX, JSON, Bootstrap, NodeJS, XML, Servlet, JSP.
• SOAP and REST WebService development experience.
• Designed OO applications using top-down and bottom-up methodologies.
• Experience with Spring IOC and J2EE CDI in enterprise architectures.
• Knowledge of GOF design patterns and SOA/Enterprise Integration Patterns.
• WebSphere Application Server experience is required.
• Data modeling and CI build/deployment pipelines with Jenkins, CARA, Git, Stash.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enhancements within KYCView framework.
• Research and resolve defects across the SDLC.
• Support and execute functional and performance testing.
• Troubleshoot production environments and optimize tuning.
• Guide infrastructure and environment setup.
• Ensure adherence to technical best practices throughout projects.
• Provide guidance during development, configuration and testing phases.
• Perform code reviews and enforce standards on components.
