United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own end-to-end delivery of software projects, shape the R&D roadmap, and translate client needs into robust solutions. You will work in a collaborative team, applying expertise in Java, microservices, REST and CI/CD, and drive production issue resolution while embracing agile practices.

This role emphasizes architectural leadership, hands-on coding, and maintaining high quality across front-end and back-end stacks.

Qualifications

• Engineering bachelor’s degree (BE/B.Tech/MCA or equivalent) in Computer Science.
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Java 8+, ORM, and Spring Boot, with experience in a testing framework such as JUnit or Cypress.
• Practical experience with at least one relational database (MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL).
• Proven experience designing scalable microservices solutions.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, strong debugging skills, and experience with log frameworks such as ELK.
• Working knowledge of CSS, HTML, and JavaScript, with responsive design coding skills; experience with Angular is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Docker/Kubernetes, and knowledge of a message queue such as RabbitMQ or Kafka, is a plus.
• Demonstrated track record delivering enterprise-grade software end-to-end, including providing technical guidance to others.
• Strong background in continuous integration practices, with excellent analytical, reasoning, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and the ability to advocate for and influence multiple stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and quality, with the ability to work well in and across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own End-to-End Delivery: Code, design, execute, and take full responsibility for the delivery and maintenance of software projects and products.
• Shape the R&D Roadmap: Partner with business stakeholders to define project deliverables and manage the roadmap of R&D initiatives.
• Bridge Client Needs: Collaborate with Technical Relationship Managers and Architects to translate client-initiated R&D requests into robust solutions.
• Drive Issue Resolution: Act as the go-to point of contact for managing and driving production defects through to resolution.
• Streamline Critical Processes: Tailor processes to manage time-sensitive issues and bring them to swift, effective closure.
