Job summary
A leading consulting firm in the United States is seeking a Senior Java Programmer to assist with the design, development, and support of complex Java/JEE applications. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience with Web Services, Struts, Spring, and Hibernate/OpenJPA, as well as 2 years with Angular JS. Local candidates are strongly preferred, and applicants must be eligible for hire in the U.S. without visa sponsorship. This is a contract-to-hire position.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years experience with Web Services, Struts, Spring, and Hibernate/OpenJPA.
Minimum 2 years experience with Angular JS.
Experience with relational and object-oriented modeling.
Experience with requirements gathering and documentation.
Ability to successfully interact in a team environment.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of UNIX OS, UNIX Shell Scripting, PL/SQL, and UML preferred.
Responsibilities
Assist with refinement of requirements for complex Java/JEE programs.
Design and development of Java applications.
Support existing Java applications.
