Job summary

VALIANT TECHNOLOGIES LLC is seeking a senior Java developer to design, build, and support enterprise apps and web services. You’ll deploy to production, resolve live-system issues, and lead small projects while collaborating with a team in Linux environments using VS Code.

Requirements include 10 years in Java, 5 years in Drools/BRMS, JBoss, Git, Maven, AWS, SQL, and JUnit. JBPM experience is a plus. We offer an inclusive workplace in California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10 years of experience in Java: strong core Java and Web Services.
• 5 years' experience with Drools/Red Hat BRMS or another rules engine.
• Experience in web applications and JUnit.
• Experience with JBoss Application Server.
• 5 years' experience with Git, Maven.
• Experience in Linux environments.
• Experience with AWS, SQL, VS Code.
• Preferred JBPM or other process automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and support web services and enterprise applications.
• Prepare software for deployment to production environments.
• Respond to and resolve questions and issues in a live system.
• Manage small projects independently and contribute on larger initiatives.
• Work in Linux environments and develop using VS Code.
