Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily in Java.
• Strong working knowledge of relational databases — Oracle and/or PostgreSQL; PostgreSQL Aurora a plus.
• Experience deploying services in containerized environments (OpenShift, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with legacy enterprise app servers (Tomcat/WebSphere) a plus.
• Experience with Spring Boot/JPA, business rules engines (e.g., Drools), and integration/orchestration frameworks (Apache Camel).
• Knowledge of Kafka or similar event‑streaming platforms with design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Develop and harden a Spring Boot / JPA / PostgreSQL service with Liquibase migrations.
• Design and own integration workflows using Apache Camel for multi‑step pipelines.
• Develop an event‑driven backbone using Kafka and integrate with rules engine and workflow layer.
• Build a micro‑frontend using Next.js/React/TypeScript and own OAuth2/OIDC identity architecture.
• Contribute to application modernization, migrate to cloud‑native environments, and improve CI/CD pipelines.
