Job summary

Miratech is seeking a senior Java developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems used across the organization. You will contribute to architecture decisions, code quality, and mentoring of junior engineers.

Requirements include several years of Java experience, strong OOP and design-pattern knowledge, experience with Java frameworks, build tools, tests, and Git workflows, plus clear, well-documented code and solid collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and software engineering basics.
• Experience with Java frameworks, build tools, testing libraries, and version control.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and explain it clearly.
• Solid analytical and communication skills for collaborative team work.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications and backend services used by the engineering organization.
• Participate in architectural discussions, technical planning, and estimation for new initiatives.
• Review code, enforce coding standards, and mentor less experienced team members.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and operations colleagues to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions.
• Investigate and resolve production defects, performance issues, and integration challenges.
