Job summary

KellyMitchell Group is seeking an experienced Software Developer III in Englewood, CO, to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications. The role emphasizes JDK 21, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Kubernetes, with a strong focus on scalable, reliable software and collaboration with engineering teams.

The position is hybrid (4 days onsite) with a pay range of $85,000 to $121,500 annually, and includes medical/dental/vision, ESOP, and 401(k). W-2 only, no C2C.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java, specifically JDK 21.
• Hands-on experience with the Spring Boot framework.
• Experience developing RESTful web services and APIs.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
• Experience deploying Spring Boot applications to Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Helm deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, test, debug, and maintain software applications using Java.
• Build and maintain applications using Java JDK 21 and the Spring Boot framework.
• Develop and maintain RESTful web services and APIs.
• Contribute to technical design specifications based on business requirements.
• Review designs and specifications for quality and consistency.
• Deploy and support Spring Boot apps in Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot issues and deliver solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews.
• Develop and maintain technical and operational documentation.
