Job summary

Kaleidoscope Innovation is seeking an experienced Java Developer to design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade applications in Plano, TX. You will contribute across the full SDLC, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure software solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on Java development, strong knowledge of Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, RESTful APIs, and microservices, with a track record of delivering robust systems in complex environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Proficiency in Core Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot/MVC), Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and multithreading.
• Experience integrating with GE Reliance / GE XA/21 or similar energy/industrial systems.
• SQL proficiency with MySQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle.
• Agile/Scrum experience; Git version control.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship features.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
• Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and third-party services.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
• Stay current with emerging technologies to continuously improve development processes.
