Job summary

Base-2 Solutions seeks a Senior Java Developer to modernize a critical government information system. You will upgrade the technology stack, including Java/Python components on Windows VMware, Solr with ZooKeeper, Tomcat, and Oracle 19c integration, while adhering to secure coding practices.

You will collaborate with security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to minimize disruption and document upgrade procedures and configurations. A TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise Java development on Windows-based VMware infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Python and integration with Oracle 19c databases.
• Expertise with Apache Solr including upgrade/migration with ZooKeeper coordination.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Tomcat and Apache Directory Studio.
• Familiarity with SAP BI reporting frameworks in secure government contexts.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices for government compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute technology stack upgrades for enterprise Java applications in secure government environments.
• Develop and maintain Java/Python components on Windows-based VMware infrastructure.
