You will deliver secure, production-grade enhancements across multiple initiatives while collaborating with teams using modern developer productivity tooling, including AI-assisted code generation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Recent experience in a highly regulated industry (financial services, healthcare, insurance, government, or similar).
• Demonstrated track record building software with strong security considerations.
• Experience working in distributed/remote teams with strong written communication habits.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and safe usage.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance Java services/components supporting a large-scale enterprise platform.
• Deliver secure, maintainable code aligned to regulated-environment expectations (reviews, controls, documentation where required).
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and iterative delivery across multiple parallel initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.
• Identify and remediate security risks and quality issues (vulnerabilities, logging/monitoring gaps, stability concerns).
• Contribute to team standards and workflows for safely using AI-assisted coding tools in day-to-day development.
