Collabera is hiring a Senior Application Developer for a 12-month contract in Charlotte, NC. The role is in a hybrid setup, focusing on modern application development, cloud technologies, and enterprise transformation.

You will understand business needs, develop and enhance applications, support testing and deployments, and explore new technologies through PoCs. You will work in an Agile team, collaborating with a team lead and potentially direct client interaction to deliver secure, reliable

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Java/J2EE development experience.
• Strong knowledge of container and cloud tech (Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, Azure).
• Experience with Spring and Spring Integration.
• Experience with Cassandra, Kafka, MQ, NoSQL, and RESTful services.
• Knowledge of WS-Security and secure coding practices.
• Experience with Eclipse/IntelliJ, Splunk, Dynatrace, Autosys.
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle/SQL Server.
• Experience with Angular and/or React.
• Experience with JUnit, Sonar, Crucible and modern Agile methods.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into robust Java/J2EE solutions.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications.
• Perform unit testing and support testing/deployments.
• Create PoCs to evaluate new tech approaches.
• Support deployments and production readiness.
• Develop apps leveraging cloud and container tech.
• Build web services and secure APIs.
• Write complex SQL queries for Oracle/SQL Server.
• Develop Unix/Linux scripts for support/automation.
• Work with Angular/React for front-end components.
• Utilize monitoring/DevOps tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, Autosys).
• Collaborate in an Agile team and engage with stakeholders.
