Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with web applications.
• 10+ years of Java development experience.
• 5+ years of Java Micro Services experience.
• 8+ years of Spring/Spring Boot experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing and using RESTful APIs.
• 2+ years of cloud computing experience (PCF/AWS/Azure).
• 2+ years of banking domain experience.
• 4+ years MQ/Kafka messaging experience.
• 4+ years of RDBMS experience.
• 2+ years of in-memory databases like Redis/MongoDB/Cassandra.
• 3+ years of BDD development.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements with stakeholders.
• Develop, test and deploy APIs.
• Write tested, idiomatic Java code.
• Collaborate with frontend for REST API integration.
• Communicate with external web services.
• Produce, maintain and modify REST APIs.
• Ensure APIs follow industry-standard best practices.
• Fix issues or bugs as they arise.
