We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Electronic Pricing to build a Java-based pricing API for a financial services client, enabling near real-time responses for Sales and connecting to existing pricing engines via APIs.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of application and integration architecture.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders.
• Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Good understanding of Equity products, particularly options and derivatives.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor degree in Computer science, Engineering, Finance or Quantitative finance.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Electronic Pricingto support a financial services client on a new initiative focused on building an external pricing API for the Sales desk.

The objective is to develop a Java-based solution enabling Sales teams to respond to client pricing requests in near real time. The application will connect to existing pricing engines and services through APIs, retrieve pricing information, and generate outputs for downstream and client-facing applications.

This is a senior, business-facing position requiring strong technical expertise combined with the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
