Job summary

Stefanini Group is hiring a Java Developer in Richmond, VA (onsite). The role focuses on developing, testing, and deploying solutions using Java and Angular in AWS Cloud, within an Agile team. It requires strong Java experience and familiarity with modern web technologies.

The position is a long-term contract in a collaborative environment with opportunities to contribute across the stack, including REST APIs, microservices, and cloud migrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of strong experience in core Java, Python, NodeJS.
• Experience in front end development using Angular (8+).
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate, SQL, JUnit, J2EE, Maven, JAXB, JSON, XML, Micro services and REST APIs.
• AWS technologies including serverless, containers, RDS, storage and migration services.
• Experience with Bootstrap, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS and Unit Testing: Jest/Karma/Jasmine.
• Experience with Agile methodology and daily scrums.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, test, implement, and evaluate solutions using Angular and Java in AWS Cloud.
• Analyze existing solutions, formulate requirements, code, test and debug; provide support and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to design of technology infrastructure and configurations; recommend improvements.
• Review patches and new versions; deploy code and ensure system integrity.
• Document use cases and scripts; perform technical research and stay updated on tech trends.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives and process improvements; may require extended hours or travel.
