Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join a client team in the Technical Services space. This remote role focuses on designing and implementing robust healthcare integration solutions using HL7 CDA standards.

You will mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with healthcare SMEs, business analysts, QA, and stakeholders to enhance architecture, reliability, and automated testing of critical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of professional software development experience with strong proficiency in Java
• Hands-on experience with HL7 standards, particularly Clinical Document Architecture (CDA)
• Strong knowledge of XML, XSD, XPath, and related XML processing technologies
• Experience with relational databases, SQL, and data mapping/transformation
• Ability to analyze complex technical problems and independently design and implement solutions
• Experience implementing and troubleshooting Schematron rules for HL7 CDA document validation

Location: Remote

Compensation: $107,900 – $195,050 annually

Responsibilities
