Job summary

Teamware Solutions Inc is seeking a Senior Java Developer for a contract-to-hire role in Chicago, IL. The candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java 17, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.

Responsibilities include building RESTful APIs, working with Kafka for event-driven systems, and AWS-based deployment including EC2, ECS, EMR, RDS, and S3. Strong SQL skills and Angular experience are required for effective integration and delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Proficiency with Java 17 and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on with Kafka and AWS (EC2/ECS/EMR/RDS/S3).
• EMR experience is mandatory and SQL expertise is required.
• Angular experience and enterprise app development background.

• 10+ years of hands-on Java development experience

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java 17, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, Angular, AWS, API development, and SQL, with proven experience building and maintaining enterprise applications in a production AWS environment.
