Base pay range

$32.00/hr - $42.00/hr

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client seeking a fully remote Senio Java Developer to join their team. Summary: The main focus this year will be completely migrating off of PCF and to GCP which will include a ton of backend services work. This role is a very fast paced and is more of an independent team so they need someone who can hit the ground running/work productively on their own. This team is completely focused on deployment/development using Java 11+ with Spring Boot. They are also working with GCP, Kubernetes, and ProActive Workflows & Scheduling. This team is one of the more innovative and technical teams in the space.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience
• Strong background with Java and Spring Boot. This team is all backend development building microservices
• Java 17+ experience
• Spring 5.2+ experience
• Spring Boot 2.2 framework+ experience
• Kafka experience
• Database experience - (Oracle, Cassandra, Elastic Search, Redis)
• GCP/GKE experience (Aws is OK if they are strong)
• Strong communication and ability to work independently - this team is fast paced and needs someone who can hit the ground running
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
