Job summary

EPAM Systems in New York seeks a Senior Java Core Developer to join our FX trading team, shaping robust server‑side solutions and guiding problem‑solving across the software lifecycle.

You will own FX trading software design, participate in the full SDLC, deliver Level3 production support, and improve both new projects and legacy code.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Java server-side development including multi-threaded programming.
• Experience designing and building robust and scalable distributed systems in an enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of messaging and middleware technologies such as Kafka and TibcoEMS.
• Knowledge of frameworks including Spring and Spring Boot and reactive programming paradigms.
• Familiarity with Cloud/Azure, Docker and DevOps.
• Basic skills in Linux.
• Fluent English.
