Job summary

Goldfinger Software India is seeking a senior Java backend engineer to design, develop and optimize multi-tenant SaaS backend services. You will build and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot and ensure high-performance data persistence with JPA/Hibernate.

You will implement caching, develop microservices, and support containerised deployments in collaboration with DevOps. Strong ownership of backend components and a focus on scalability and security are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional IT qualification.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Java (8+) and Spring Boot.
• Solid experience with JPA / Hibernate and relational databases.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Practical experience with microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with caching (Hazelcast, in-memory, etc.)
• Experience with containerisation (Docker; Kubernetes/ECS is a plus)
• Understanding of multi-tenant SaaS architectures
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Proficient with Git, Maven, and CI/CD pipelines
