Job summary

Infosys Public Services is seeking a Senior Cloud / AI Developer (Java, GCP) to join our team. You will design, develop, and maintain Java-based cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform, building secure, scalable services and partnering with DevOps, QA and security teams to meet performance and compliance targets.

This role emphasizes APIs, AI-enabled use cases, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC, with a focus on secure coding, observability, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technology or software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• Experience with Java backend development and cloud-native apps on GCP.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, security, and data protection.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and IaC.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based cloud-native applications on GCP.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs with versioning and documentation.
• Implement AI-enabled capabilities for use cases.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
• Ensure security, compliance, and observability through logging, metrics, etc.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Product Management, and security.
