Job summary

Unisys is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and maintain data-driven features ingesting multiple sources and surfacing insights. You will own components end to end, participate in architecture discussions, and ensure code quality and security across production systems.

Applicants should have strong Java/Python/Node.js skills, experience with Big Data tooling (Spark, EMR, Athena), and a solid grasp of SQL and data patterns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline with significant experience.
• Solid object-oriented development and cloud technologies experience required.
• Experience with data storage technologies (relational and NoSQL) and DevOps/CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain data-driven features and services.
• Own moderately complex components end to end from design through delivery.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and shape team solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, and ensure security and quality.
• Provide guidance to juniors and participate in onboarding.
