Envision Technology Solutions seeks a Senior Java Backend Lead to join our engineering team on a long-term contract. Based in Omaha, NE or Berkeley Heights, NJ, you will lead backend development using Java and Spring, design scalable microservices, and own RESTful APIs, security, and data integrity.

You will mentor developers, drive best practices, and collaborate with Product, QA, and frontend teams to deliver robust solutions on time.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Core Java and Java 8+ including Collections/S Streams/Lambda/multithreading
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Experience with Hibernate/JPA
• Familiarity with Git platforms (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket)
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Good debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and efficient code
• Implement business logic, data validation, error handling, and security
• Optimize performance and troubleshoot production issues
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure quality
• Participate in code reviews and follow development standards
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, product managers, and other stakeholders
• Use Git and follow Agile/Scrum practices
• Contribute to system design, technical documentation, and continuous improvement
• Monitor and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments
