Job summary

WOONGJIN, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Java Back-end Developer in Plano, TX to design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end systems using Java and Spring.

You will build robust APIs, optimize SQL queries in Oracle, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business needs. The role requires 5+ years on Java back-end with Spring, and hands-on experience with Maven, Git, Tomcat/WebLogic, and CI with Jenkins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Eng or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Java back-end development.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring/Spring Boot/Spring Batch.
• Strong OOP, data structures, and algorithms knowledge.
• Experience with Oracle SQL and database design.
• RESTful services experience and API development.
• Maven, Git, and server tech (Tomcat/WebLogic).
• CI tools: Jenkins; testing: JUnit; security: OAuth/SOAP.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java back-end apps, services, and APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with front-end, product, and stakeholders on requirements.
• Implement and optimize database schemas; write complex SQL queries.
• Develop and consume RESTful web services for integrations.
• Leverage Spring modules for enterprise applications.
• Manage dependencies and builds with Maven.
• Use Git for version control and collaboration.
• Perform unit/integration testing and debugging.
• Stay updated on backend technologies and best practices.
