Job summary

First Object is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Java / Backend) to design and build scalable, high-performance applications for financial institutions globally. You will own substantial components, contribute to architecture, and deliver robust, secure code in a fast-paced team.

You will collaborate with product managers, QA, and cross-functional teams, participate in design reviews, and advance engineering excellence through best practices, automation, and clean, maintainable code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of software development with strong Java/J2EE fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, REST APIs, and multithreading.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java/J2EE applications.
• Own end-to-end development tasks from requirements through deployment and production support.
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in peer reviews and best practices.
