Job summary

Trax USA Corp is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our Development team supporting a Tier 1 customer. You will design and develop robust backend systems powering mission-critical aviation software solutions, focusing on secure, scalable code in a distributed architecture.

You will mentor peers and contribute to engineering best practices in a fast-paced environment. Required 7+ years of Java experience, familiarity with Spring/EJB Hibernate, RESTful services, and database design.

Qualifications

7+ years of hands-on Java development experience focused on backend service design and implementation.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using modern Java frameworks in a microservices environment.
Develop secure, high-performance, and scalable code for mission-critical business processes.
Build and support event-driven processing within distributed systems.
Collaborate with product, engineering, QA, and operations to align solutions with objectives.
Contribute to Java development best practices, tooling, and code review processes.
Mentor teammates with knowledge sharing and peer reviews to elevate capabilities.
Troubleshoot, optimize and monitor backend systems for reliability and performance.
Ensure security standards, data privacy, and compliance across code and components.
Participate in architecture discussions and provide input on system design and scalability.
