Valiant Technologies LLC seeks an accomplished Senior DevOps & Cloud Engineer to design and operate scalable backend systems in a high-availability environment. You will work across distributed services, implement secure coding practices, and lead containerization and cloud infrastructure initiatives.

The role emphasizes modern CI/CD pipelines, automation with Terraform, and observability tooling. You will collaborate with product teams and contribute to a growing SaaS platform in Cupertino, CA.

Formación

• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Extensive experience developing backend applications and RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles and design patterns.
• Experience building distributed systems and high-availability architectures.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Strong experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Experience deploying and managing applications using Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodeDeploy, ArgoCD, or similar platforms.
• Infrastructure automation experience using Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools.
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or event-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture.
• Knowledge of secure coding principles and application security practices.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Service Mesh experience (Istio, Linkerd) is considered a plus.
• Previous experience with Apple or other leading product-based organizations.
• Experience supporting large-scale internet-facing applications.
• Experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Flink, MPP platforms, or Data Warehousing.
• Exposure to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
• Experience with frontend technologies and UI development.
• Experience integrating AI/ML platforms and services.
