Job summary

Dahl Consulting is seeking a Senior Java Backend Engineer to design and enhance scalable backend systems for enterprise-level digital experiences in the Brooklyn Park area. You’ll focus on Java, Spring Boot, microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native architectures.

Hybrid work arrangement—onsite two days per week near Brooklyn Park, MN—with remote days remaining. You will collaborate across data, analytics, and product teams to deliver high-performing solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Kafka and MongoDB in production environments.
• Deep knowledge of API development, RESTful services, and microservice architectures.
• Experience with system integrations and distributed backend systems.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery.
• Experience with NoSQL databases and data modeling for large-scale applications.
• Understanding of modern backend frameworks, software design patterns, and scalable architecture principles.
• Experience working within Agile software development environments.

• Experience with cloud-native architectures and containerized environments.
